It’s Time To Pray!

Dear Reader,

We all see things happening around us that don’t make sense. In fact, they are completely irrational! However, we are not to be caught up in this hysteria. It is time to pray! This is the moment we should repent, seek the face of God, and ask for His mercies to stop this virus and the panic that is putting our nation and its people in jeopardy! It is foolish to attempt to blame this person or that nation for the problem. People didn’t create this virus nor have they created colds or the flu. Blaming others will never resolve the matter. If anything, it will only serve to anger groups of people with different points of view. It’s time to recognize the need for prayer and unity seeking an answer to this disease. It is important to understand we are better together than apart. Let’s be a part of the solution. Let’s Pray!

Father God have mercy upon us we pray. Forgive our sins of hatred and indifference and restore unity to this nation once again we humbly ask! Give the men and women who are working to resolve this deadly disease great wisdom as you have done so many times in the past! This we pray in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ our Lord! Amen!

Please join in intercession as we fight this battle in pray while others are combating this virus first hand!

Resurrection Day!

Resurrection Day

The day had come the time was set our Lord gave His life away

Though no one knew what God had done, nor the plans He had in place

Jesus Christ bore our sins upon the cross and there all our debts were paid

Now the host of evil thought they had won when Jesus died that day

They lifted up their infernal voice with vile and unholy praise

Saying surely now we have conquered and nothing will stand in our way

The victory for us is now secured over death, hell, and the grave

But on the third day they began to tremble as the earth began to quake

The fiends of darkness began to scream as they realized their fate

For The Voice of God came to His Son saying awake My Son awake

This is the moment for You My Child to triumph and take Your rightful place

This is the time for You to rise, It’s Resurrection Day!

The sound of His voice shook the earth and the stone was rolled away

Hallelujah Hallelujah the hosts of heaven sounded as Jesus arose that glorious day

Hallelujah Hallelujah Christ has conquered an open display He has made

Hallelujah Hallelujah forever victorious over death, hell, and the grave

Christ is seated now upon the throne in glorious splendor arrayed

Ever interceding before The Father for all who now remain

Ever wooing The Holy Spirit calling my children awake awake

Today is the moment this is the hour, this is Resurrection Day!

Come away My beloved, Come away My Beloved hear now our Master say

Come away My child my precious one this is your Resurrection Day!

I call you forth out of darkness into the light of My glory and grace

Come forth now My child come forth now this is your Resurrection Day

I offered Myself for you that hour, I washed all your sins away

Freely I’ve given life to you so come no longer delay

For this is the moment for you My child this is your Resurrection Day!

No longer defeated by sin and shame nor by doubts dismayed

For this is your moment, this is your hour, this is Resurrection Day!

Hallelujah Hallelujah all our sins forgiven lift up your shouts of praise

For this is the moment, this is the hour, This is Resurrection Day!

Living in the Present!

How many times do we spend our moments looking for that next big adventure or regretting the things of the past? I would suspect we do this far to often. Our energy is spent worrying about things that have already happened. Or, we are hoping for that next glorious move of God without considering the very moment we are living in. Our Lord instructs us to seek first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness in Matthew 6:33 and then in the next verse He tells us not to dwell on the issues tomorrow may bring. Why? He gave the answer to this question by telling us that today will have enough problems to deal with.

The fact is, we are only speculating when our thoughts are filled with tomorrows. We aren’t promised tomorrow! We only have this moment. The past we can deal with by taking all of it to the Cross of Jesus Christ! There at the Cross our sins are washed away in the depths of the eternal love of God. If we have been forgiven, then the past is over. “I am a new creation in Christ Jesus…” Jesus makes all things new that means me and you! If we choose to dwell in the past our hearts become overcharged with grief and regrets. Joy is lost because we can’t see the glory of the Great Gift of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

What about tomorrow? Our tomorrows have been marked out by God Himself! We are secure in His unfailing Love. I need not fret about what may happen. It is important, as well, not to try and live in the hope of the next great thing that’s coming since tomorrow hasn’t arrived. This doesn’t mean we don’t plan for what we believe God is saying. However, our planning should be in line with our Lord’s command to seek first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness.

Frankly, if we choose to dwell in the past, or live hoping only in the future, we are missing out on life in the present! God needs us to be present examples, with present faith, presently waiting for the Promise of God to be fulfilled. Present faith responds to the present Word of God today with the assurance that tomorrow is already taken care of. Present faith acts upon the Word that is presently before us. This eliminates speculations and lofty thoughts. It could be that we are missing out on the next great movement because we aren’t living in the present moment we are given. Your life could very well be that spark! Sparks are live embers! They are flames in the making now! Sparks aren’t future, neither are they past events! They are present moments! Right now embers.

So why not live today with the Present Word of God, the Present Spark of Life. Why not begin with a grateful heart for what our Heavenly Father is doing right now? You may be surprised where this will lead!

HAPPY NEW DAY!

Heaven’s Great Star!

Heaven’s Great Star

We remember the star that shone for the King

Of whom the heavenly hosts and angels did sing

He came to the earth as a little child

Meek and lowly, gentle and mild

He was sent from the Father in heaven above

to declare the wonder of God’s great Love

Heaven’s Great Star, God’s Holy Light

Brought Light to the world to bring an end to our night

Come behold Heaven’s Great Star

Come and worship just as you are

For Hope Eternal was given that day

When God sent His Son to lighten our way

Heaven’s Great Star is Christ Jesus The King

Of whom the hosts of heaven still sing

He came to turn your darkness to day

Yes, He is the Truth the Life and the Way

Rejoice in Him now all ye children below

In Heaven’s Great Star who came long ago

For He will soon come again to call us away

To behold Him forever in that endless day

Rejoice again with Holy Delight

For Heaven’s Great Star Reigns in Glory and Might

Hallelujah Hallelujah our Savior came

Hallelujah Heaven’s Great Star is Coming Again

Blessings to all this wonderful Christmas Season,

Help in time of need, Just Come as a Child

Dear Child,

Little ones are precious in the sight of God. They are the apple of His eye, so full of life and hope. Jesus wants us to realize how precious these little ones are to Him and how valued the faith of a child is. Jesus tells us further that the Kingdom of God is filled with little children saying; “for of such is the Kingdom of God”. To put it simply, the Kingdom of God is filled with those who are childlike in heart.

There are times in our lives when we think incorrectly that we need to act more mature, we need to grow up. While this may be true, our hearts are still to be opened to Jesus Christ our Lord even as a little child. If this isn’t the case, we should consider whether or not we are walking in Christ as we ought. Yes, Paul said “when I became a man, I put away childish things”, and this is true. However, Paul didn’t put away a childlike heart even though he matured as a man. He still trusted in God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ implicitly. Our Heavenly Father wants us to have the joy of a little child as we approach Him. He doesn’t want us to look upon Him as a tyrant or a harsh Father who only has time for what we think are very important matters. This just isn’t who our God Is! He Is Holy, Just, Righteous in all His ways! Yet, He is Gentle, Loving, and Kind not willing that any perish. It is His good pleasure to give us The Kingdom! So, we should seek His Kingdom, even as a little one seeks to obtain blessed gifts from their earthly fathers and mothers.

It is very sad but little children learn to mistrust. However, God desires that we keep that simple trust in tact. Earthly parents may have disappointed us because we are all imperfect. But, God Loves us far more than our earthly family could and He wants us to know that He relishes our fellowship with Him. He enjoys our company even when we are being a bit loud, or asking so many questions. Father God is not disturbed by this though we as people often dislike these interruptions. The whole of the matter is that God Loves us and wants us to come and fellowship with Him! He takes us as we are and lovingly changes us from glory to glory. He hears us when we call out to Him. And, Father God is never to busy dealing with a major issue that He wouldn’t stop to pick you up in His arms and bless you even as Jesus did little children. Yes, our Lord Jesus was very busy ministering to all those around Him. Yet, this ministry never neglected any one of the sheep of His pasture. He cared and still cares for them all.

It is God’s desire that we receive the Kingdom as a little child! He wants us to be abundantly blessed and to know we are loved intimately. How are we supposed to receive then? Well, receiving as a child is just opening our hearts to all that is before us believing that our Heavenly Father is watching over us, and as a Good Father, He will give us what is good. There may be things that we experience which are a mystery to us. We often ask the “why” question and don’t always get an answer right away. It isn’t that our Father in Heaven is offended by the question. It is just something for the moment we cannot understand. This shouldn’t cause our hearts to distrust Him though. For, our Heavenly Father doesn’t lie. He is Faithful and True and Loves us with an everlasting Love!

Our Lord Jesus invites us to come. This invitation comes just like we would invite a little child to come to us. The receiving part is just opening our hands and excepting the gift. Then with excitement we open it up. So, why not come to God with anticipation since this is how He invites all to come. He delights in giving His children gifts that fill us with joy. This isn’t getting everything we want. It is receiving the abundant life that Jesus said He came to give! Open your hands and receive this gift of Love and Life! Then continue walking with Him in the same way. Don’t be hardened in heart but be filled with joy knowing our Father in Heaven will grant our petitions and is delighted to spend time with us. He won’t be put out because we run to Him! On the contrary, He will take us up in His arms and bless us!

This Christmas Season, come behold the King of Kings and let your hearts be filled with the wonder at the Love of God the Father, Who Loves us so much that He gave His Only Begotten Son! Since He gave so much then, do you think He would withhold life now? Paul the Apostle gave us the answer to this question when he wrote to the Romans. Romans 8:32 says: “He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” The things we need are the things that pertain to Life and Godliness. In other words, He gives us abundant Life and the Power to walk it out!

Be Blessed this Christmas Season!

Love in Christ Jesus our Lord,

Robert

What is Fortitude?

What is Fortitude you ask? Well, that is a great question. According to the Merriam Webster Dictionary it is; the strength of mind to encounter danger or bear pain or adversity with courage. This information is covered extensively in the book, but for now let’s say it is courage for every situation we face.

So, why do I need Fortitude anyway? Every person faces obstacles in life that are extremely trying. The rich and poor alike face hardships. They may come in different ways, but everyone will face something in their life that will require Fortitude! It is important to realize that strength of mind will give us the ability to face the mountain and the stormy winds with calm. This is a certainty: Panic always produces the wrong results! Battles are not won by panicking. It is impossible! Victories are won as we calm ourselves in the heat of the storm!

This book was written to encourage you, from a spiritual perspective, to rest in the Truth even in the midst of your storms. It will help you to understand you are not alone.

More coming soon! Stay in touch! If you have some questions feel free to send them. It may take some time but we will respond.

Blessings for now!
